Terms of use

Last updated 29 October 2026

TellMeFirst helps you share one update about something people are waiting for. Here are the rules, in plain English.

Who runs TellMeFirst?

Dimitrios Moustakas, based in Athens, Greece. You can reach us at [email protected].

One event. One final update.

A creator makes an event page. People subscribe. When it happens, the creator writes and sends the final update.

We do not watch websites or decide when an event has happened. An event does not need a date, a place or tickets.

Sending the update completes the event. The message stays on its public page and cannot be edited.

Be honest. Be kind.

Only post content you have the right to share. Do not post scams, threats, illegal content or someone else's private information. Do not sign up other people without their permission.

You can start a page about something you do not organise, such as a band's announcement. Do not pretend to be the official organiser.

You keep ownership of your content. You let us store it, show it on your event page and deliver it to the people who subscribed.

What is free? What costs money?

Creating an event and offering Wallet subscriptions is free. Email subscriptions are optional. You can add them when you create the event or later, before it is completed.

Email costs €7 per event, plus any VAT that applies. You pay once through Stripe. There is no monthly plan, no subscriber limit and no extra send charge. Check the total shown at checkout before you pay.

Creators see subscription counts. They do not get subscriber names, email addresses or a mailing list.

Updates can take time.

We send the update through the option each person chose. Email services, Wallet providers, internet connections and phone settings can affect when it arrives. We cannot promise an instant notification.

The creator is responsible for the event and its message. A page on TellMeFirst does not guarantee that an event will happen.

You can change your mind.

Email subscribers can use the cancellation link in their confirmation email before the final update. Wallet subscribers can remove the pass from their Wallet.

Creators can delete an event to stop new subscriptions. Deleting an event does not automatically refund a payment. For payment problems, cancellation or a refund request, email [email protected].

Your rights under consumer law still apply. These terms do not take those rights away. The full cancellation and refund information will be completed before paid public launch.

If something goes wrong, tell us.

Report a problem or harmful event at [email protected]. We may remove content or limit access to stop abuse and protect the service.

Read our Privacy policy to learn how we use data. If these terms change, we will update this page and its date.
