# TellMeFirst

TellMeFirst lets a creator collect interest in a specific future occurrence and manually send one final update when it happens. An event can be an app launch, a book release, ticket availability or an opening. A date is not required.

## How it works

1. A verified creator creates an event page and shares its link.
2. Visitors subscribe through an available native Wallet option, or through confirmed email when the event is upgraded.
3. The creator sends the final announcement. It appears on the public event page and is delivered through the subscribed channel.

TellMeFirst does not automatically monitor other websites. It is not a newsletter, mailing list, ticket seller or reservation service. Delivery timing and native Wallet availability depend on the device and provider.

## Find an event

[Explore events](/explore) to browse and search discoverable events. Public event pages can be read without a TellMeFirst account. Completed pages retain the final announcement.

New events start non-discoverable. Anyone with their link can still read and subscribe, but they are excluded from Explore and carry noindex. Only the creator can enable discoverability. A public profile listing does not change that choice. Deleted, suspended or otherwise unavailable events do not expose their previous content.

## Create an event

[Create an event](/events/create) requires a verified creator account. The creator controls the final update; a subscriber cannot trigger it. A creator may make a page about a third-party occurrence, so a page is not necessarily official or affiliated with its subject.

Creators receive aggregate subscription counts. They do not receive subscriber email lists or commercial exports.

## Plans and access

Creating an event with TellMeFirst Wallet branding is free. The optional event upgrade adds email subscriptions, custom Wallet branding and an embed widget. Each verified account receives one complimentary upgrade without a card.
